What is a collagen inducer?
A collagen inducer is a biostimulant that, when injected into the deep dermis, triggers a natural regenerative response. Unlike conventional fillers, it does not aim to add volume immediately: it stimulates fibroblasts—the cells that produce collagen and elastin—so that your own skin can gradually rebuild itself with long-lasting results.
We work with active ingredients such as poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA, found in Sculptra) or calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA, found in Radiesse), each with a different mechanism of action. We choose the most appropriate one based on your skin’s density, the degree of loss of firmness, and the area to be treated.
Who is it intended for?
This treatment is ideal if you notice a gradual loss of firmness and density, diffuse fine lines, or skin that looks tired or lacks volume. It’s also an excellent way to maintain your results if you’ve already had dermal fillers and want to enhance your skin’s quality from within.
It can be applied to the face, neck, décolletage, hands, and arms. There is no set age to start using it: the right time depends on the actual condition of your skin.
What Is the Process Like?
The session begins with a personalized assessment of your skin’s quality and laxity. We apply topical anesthesia for your comfort and use fine needles or cannulas, depending on the area. Depending on the treatment modality used, the full protocol may require two to three sessions spaced out over time to achieve the maximum effect.
Expected Results
The results are gradual: they become more pronounced between 4 and 12 weeks after each session. The skin becomes firmer, pores are refined, fine lines are softened, and the facial contours regain definition. Since the collagen produced is your own, the results are completely natural and can last between one and two years with the proper treatment regimen.
